I have the most non-likely-to-crash computer in the group I play BL with, and the setup is as follows:
2 people in a house, including me1 person across town
The person across town used to host our games but his Borderlands has started crashing more than usual with the DLCs. So I started hosting, but this introduced another obstacle: The extra person in the house. What will happen is the extra person's network information is being sent through the internet, back to me, and my connection sends information back to her, creating a redundant lag when the LAN-player hosts a game.
I'm wondering if there's a program like Hamachi or Tunngle(creating a VPN) that allows me to start a LAN game for us in the house, with the extra person connecting through that VPN as if it were a LAN game to minimize all the lag being created.
I know I can't be the only co-op lover with this problem, has anyone ever solved this issue?
