Windows XP L2TP/IPsec Instructions
To configure the L2TP/IPsec connection:
In the Control Panel, Open Arrangement Connections beneath "Classic View"
Click Start again Control Panel
Click Arrangement and Internet Connections (skip if not there)
Click Arrangement Connections
Under Arrangement Tasks in the larboard column, bang Create a new connection, again Next
Select Connect to the arrangement at my abode again Next
Select Virtual Private Arrangement affiliation again Next
Type a anecdotic name in the Company Name field
In the Host Name field, blazon one of the afterward names again bang Next
chicago.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.
denver.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.
denver2.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.
denver3.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.
fremont.vpnreactor.net - Southern California
houston.vpnreactor.net - Middle U.S.
la.vpnreactor.net - Southern California
ny.vpnreactor.net - East Coast U.S.
nl.vpnreactor.net - Europe
uk.vpnreactor.net - Europe
Select "My Use Only" if this is alone for your Windows user account, or "Anyone's Use" if there are added Windows accounts that should accept admission to this VPNReactor account
To accept a VPNReactor adjustment added to your desktop, bang Add a shortcut
Click Finish
In the Connect window, bang Properties
Configure for L2TP/IPsec
On the Networking tab, change the dropdown box from Automatic to L2TP IPSec VPN
Click OK
On the Security tab, baddest IPSec Settings
Select the box Use pre-shared key for authentication
Enter the vpnreactor aggregate secuirty key "VPNReactor"
Click OK and again bang OK again
To Connect
Double-click the vpn figure on your desktop
Type your VPNReactor Login and Password in their corresponding fields
Click Connect
To Disconnect:
Click the Arrangement figure on the taskbar
